This version of our training discs features weight designation in pounds and like our IWF certified versions are meticulously constructed and designed to perform well and withstand years of hard training. They deliver the feel and performance of our competition discs without the tight competition calibration. If you prefer tracking your lifts in pounds, place a premium on performance or are training for competitive level lifting these discs are ideal.

Proprietary SBR Rubber
Our SBR rubber is an integral part of what makes our plates special and gives us exceptional control in our manufacturing process. It allows us to control for bounce, minimise imperfections and with precision and consistency manufacture a well-balanced exceptionally durable plate that maintains tolerances within the smallest of margins.
For those times when smaller weight increments are needed, pair plates with our rubber coated change plates. Certified and calibrated for record-setting lifts, these durable small plates range from .5 kg – 5 kg, come in an Olympic colour scheme and feature a lipped edge for secure easy handling.
Even though Eleiko’s Weightlifting Training Plates feature weight designations in pounds, the plates are still carefully calibrated and kept within the tight IWF specifications; 25 lb plates within +/- 80 g, 35 lb plates within +/- 120 g, 45 lb plates within +/- 160 g and the 55 lb plates are within +/- 200 g.
Weights are colour coded per the Olympic palette with prominent white raised lettering so you can easily and quickly identify weights. We make picking up and handling the weights easy and safe with a prominent lipped edge around the disc circumference to ensure a secure hold on the plates.
